Chronic Poverty Research Centre (CPRC)
Chronic Poverty Research Centre is an international partnership of universities, research institutes and NGOs which exists, to focus attention on chronic poverty, to stimulate national and international debate, to deepen understanding of the causes of chronic poverty, and to provide research, analysis and policy guidance that will contribute to its reduction. CPRC was established in 2000.
Programme for Research on Chronic Poverty in Bangladesh (PRCPB)
The programme seeks to make efforts to reduce poverty in Bangladesh more effective by deepening the understanding of those who are chronically poor, of the processes that keep them in poverty and of the policy measures that will help them to overcome poverty and vulnerability. This goal is to be achieved by the production and dissemination of policy relevant research findings to government agencies, donors and civil society and by developing the capacity of Bangladeshi research institutions to undertake research on chronic poverty.

It maintains an ever-growing library of editorially selected and abstracted online documents, and an organisational directory of development-related internet services.

Economic Research Group (ERG)
ERG is a not-for-profit organization established for promoting education and research with a view to improving economic justice in society. ERG seeks to bridge the gap between academic research and policy analysis within the context of Bangladesh and other countries of South and Southeast Asia. It intends to extend the frontier of knowledge on developing economies by undertaking analytical research and promoting exchange of views on contemporary issues.

The ICT4D platform actively works to give the ownership of modern information and technology to the majority people especially to the rural poor to resolve the digital divide and poverty allivation. Sustainable Development Network Programme:Bangladesh
The Sustainable Development Networking Programme (SDNP) is a global catalytic initiative launched by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in response to Agenda 21, which articulated the need for improved information dissemination to support sustainable development. The program is geared towards facilitating communication between users and suppliers of sustainable development information in developing countries.
